A wonderful vintage cast iron string holder. The black string holder easy separates in the center for loading a ball of string. In very good antique condition, with surface rusting. The string holder measures approximately 5 1/4" H x 4 1/4" in diameter. A pleasant reminder of the days before paper bags, when everyone's purchases were wrapped in paper and string.
